Mike is the proud owner of a 1966 Econoline called
"Son of Vanitch" Features: American mags, Zoomie pipes
that are functional, Engine is currently a 170 with plans to upgrade
to a 350 hp 302 HO and c-6 trans with a 4:11 posi. Inside you
will find a new full headliner, re upholstered seats that are
padded to match the headliner as is the doghouse, the dash and front doors. The
instrument panel, ash tray, glove box door, front door panels, all door handles,
window cranks,door locks, rearview mirror, sunvisor mounts and clips have
been done in
Andes Rosewood woodgrain to match the steering wheel that came out of a Ferrari.
Mike has installed a 1000 watt Pioneer sound system with 6x9 speakers in the front and back doors and two 12" woofers behind the front seats. He also installed
power remote door locks in all the doors along with a security system . The dog house,
floor , sides and headliner have all been insulated with Dynomat and foam
rubber. It has all new carpet front and back . He plans on putting a bed in the
back and a bench along the drivers side in the back that will be upholstered to
match the seats. It will also double as a place to put my jack and tools with
the top being hinged to open up. I also plan on putting a DVD player in it.
