Joel
had been working on the build up of a 63 panel van when
he happened to find this beauty
which had been in
storage for 20 years. When he seen the first pics of
it he knew it was to be
his. In its current state
it sports the following mods: 302 engine, C-4 transmission, ford 9"
rear,
shaved door handles and
emblems, custom built leaf springs, custom built cooling
system, a bench front
seat, and cragar rims. After only 2 months of ownership a new
engine is
being built and plans have been laid for the future.
They include: Custom bucket seats up front, A fullsize
coffin
will be used as an engine
box, disc brakes up front
and a repaint in a dark heavy metallic.
As seen above
it will be known as "Dead Sled". Joel
is driving this ride on a daily basis.
