will a later model 300 sixer fit in a 61 pickup or is severe doghouse surgery required? also what about crossmember, motor/tranny mounts etc.? i thought that the 300 was longer than the 170/200 motors.
thanks,
-tim

I'll be putting a 300 (turbo'ed) in a '63 pickup. Since it's not a drop-in and because I want to make a sports car, I'll be moving the entire engine and transmission way back, anyway.

I'll update this thread in five years or so once I make some progress on the project.
