Has anyone ever used the wheel cylinders and other brake parts from a local auto parts store? Did they work well, or should I order them from Mac's? I have a 61 Econo truck what is the lug spacing and the back spacing measurement? :?:

I ve used local brake parts many times and never had problems. Napa,Autozone,etc... no big deal.
Lug pattern is 5 on 4 and a 1/2. If you are swapping wheels, look for zero offset or very close to it to avoid problems. Common areas that hit are the shocks, springs, engine crossmember on 65-67 models and sway bar ends. Lets not forget about the wheel wells too.
