Has anyone installed power brakes in an econoline? I have a 1968 e250 that just does not stop all that well.

Any ideas?

Chuck

So far my mod is about 50% complete. Geo Metro m/c w/booster, '99 Crown Vic rear disks, and the fronts are left to do using Roger's design of a flat plate, Nova calipers and hoses, & Dodge intrepid rotors. Not done yet but I anticipate total success. Paul in Idaho.

Not sure what year. I know it has a 13/16 bore and I need to get a different reservior or some remote angled hook-ups. The existing reservior will interfere with the floor and the booster ended up being in-line with where the sway bar goes. If you use this set up... be sure to get the in-line check valve for the booster. It's buried inside the vacuum line next to the booster. I'll be making frame spacers for the sway bar. Like I said, not quite there yet. I'll be posting pics to Yahoo! group "howsbaileydoing" when I'm done. Paul in Idaho.
