Found: one 64 Pu reported to be a V8 C4 combo. The poor thing is thuroughly rusted out but the drivetrain is intact. However it is about 3 hours from my home and will cost some$. Question is is it worth it? Are the C4s as rare as I think they are? I just want to swap to a 200 six. By the way I saw a PU with a C4 from a car this w/e (another donor car) MAN :o that is one short driveshaft. I am just afraid that if I don't take this opportunity to get an Econoline C4 I may be looking for a VERY long time.
ANY opinions on this matter would be appreciated. If someone has a C4 from an Econoline and wants to sell it LET ME KNOW before I take the plunge.
By the way I have developed a bad case of whatever it is you guys have. I love these things and am looking forward to a long and interesting relationship with my 62 pickup.
Also anyone who needs a car moved in cental CA should drop me a line.

If it is an original 64 tranny it may be well worth looking at. Something tells me that it may not be the real thing since it is hooked to a V8, at the very least it will have the wrong bell for a small six. Where in the Great Central Valley are you? I am in Stockton so if it is close I could give a look for you.
