I'm looking for window seals to use when restoring my 1970 E-100. Any ideas on where to find these obsolete parts?

Deaborn Classics, Mac's etc. or go to Dennis Carpenter's website directly, since He makes most of the repop rubber.

Jim,
Thanks! Could you give me the URL for Carpenter's website?

Got it! Google's a wonderful thing! Looks like Carpenter (and everyone else) just deals with 1967 & earlier.

I will dig out the caralogues in the morning. I was positive I saw them on Dennis' site just a couple of months ago. Obsolete Ford parts used to have them but they are now called (memory failure) - I'll get back to you tomorrow am.

Had a little excitement around here today so didn't get to the research. Should be able to get to it by Tuesday.

Well, I sure gave you some bum info. I cannot verify that Dennis is repoing the seals nor can I find another source. My info came from a buddy who just (in the last 6 mo) redid a 72 and put all new rubber in it at the time. I have seen the van and it does have new rubber but darned if I can find where he got it. I am sure he told me Carpenters but that is obviously not the case. Unfortunately, he is now on a Govenment sponsored tour of the Middle East so not around to ask. I will keep looking but for now - sorry about the bad info.

Here are a couple of Yahoo groups sites which deal with second generation vans. They might have some info for you but I cannot vouch for them since they are member only and I don't belong.

Took me a week or 2 to final get in. I'm guessing the person who runs the site is busy with other things. Give him some time.

The people who run this site are father and son, Dennis and Dean Ferris. I know them both and know they both stay busy. Both are good guys and help a lot of folks out. Dennis even has an Econohead tattoo on his arm. It dont get any better than that!
